Kirsten Christopherson, BA, MA, Certified Electrologist

Kirsten brings a unique blend of academic excellence, creativity, and client-focused care to Evolation Electrolysis & Wellness Clinic. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Art from the University of Lethbridge, followed by a Master of Arts in Art History from Queen’s University. Her professional background includes work in museums as well as the concert and events industry, where she developed a strong appreciation for detail, communication, and creating exceptional experiences for others.

In May 2026, Kirsten completed her electrolysis training through Swanson’s Canadian Institute of Electrolysis and became a Certified Electrologist. She is passionate about helping clients feel confident, comfortable, and empowered in their own skin. Kirsten believes that personal wellness and self-care play an important role in overall well-being, and she is dedicated to providing safe, professional, and personalized treatments.

Outside of the clinic, Kirsten enjoys exploring Alberta’s mountain trails, visiting museums and art galleries, and discovering new brunch spots with family and friends.

Kirsten looks forward to welcoming new and returning clients and supporting them on their journey to achieving their personal hair removal and wellness goals.

Born and raised in a small town with a strong work ethic and belief that kindness, compassion and understanding are what guide me.

Graduated from the University of Alberta in 1998 with a Bachelors Degree in Science and Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy. Shortly afterwards completed my Certificate in Medical Acupuncture under the teachings of Dr. Steven Aung. I worked in Private Practice, Tertiary Care at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and in Public Health Care with the Preschool Rehab Team and during the Pandemic I worked as a Community Tester for 10 months. I had the opportunity to work with various sports teams and clubs including the Alberta Ballet.

Completed my 500 hour Electrolysis Training program with the Swanson’s Canadian Institute of Electrolysis in December 2018.

In order to serve my clients better, I decided to include Laser Hair Removal Services with the Purchase and Training for the GentleMax Pro. It is considered to be the Gold Standard for Hair Removal Lasers and I’m so excited to offer it to my Clients.

I love what I do and I believe my calling is to help people. I believe we are all equal and want everyone to feel safe, accepted and cared for when they see me.

I enjoy the outdoors, yoga, pilates, working out as my body still allows me. There are 3 components to good heath Mental, Physical and Spiritual - all are equally important.

I love my 3 children, husband and Labradoodle Ori and cat Petite and I am grateful for everyday I get to spend with them.
