BTL EXILIS ULTRA
Exilis provides a facelift-like effect without resorting to invasive techniques or surgery.
The treatment process begins with a personalized plan designed to meet your unique needs. Typically, clients receive a series of 2 to 4 treatments, scheduled weekly. Each treatment session usually lasts between 15 to 30 minutes. However, the exact duration can vary depending on the treated area and individual circumstances.
BTL Exilis is a non-invasive skin tightening treatment that can be used to address both face and body concerns using radiofrequency (RF) and ultrasound technologies. Exilis Ultra is FDA approved and clinically proven to tighten the skin and target fat deposits and improve skin appearance effectively with no down time.
It delivers Radiofrequency with ultrasound to penetrate the fat layers. By heating the tissue to 41 degrees Celsius or higher it will cause fat cell death or apoptosis. It will stimulate the production of Collagen to tighten the skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite. At Evolation, we combine Shockwave therapy at no additional charge for body treatments which yields a 20-30% better outcome than just Radiofrequency alone.
This treatment is ideal for clients with mild skin laxity or loose skin. It is ideal for clients with small pockets of fat in specific areas. It is appropriate for mild loose skin after minimal weight loss, pregnancy or aging process.
You can expect to see changes after even one session although most body or face treatments will require 2-4 sessions approximately 7-10 days apart. Significant results will appear with a period of 3 months as collagen remodeling takes about 90 days to occur.
What to Expect
It has been compared to a hot stone massage. The applicator head is guided over the treatment area with a gliding agent such as gel or oil in smooth motions. The applicator will heat up and feel something like a “Hot Stone” massage. It will feel like intense heat at times but not painful. Everyone’s sensation and perception is variable and individual but it should not be painful.
Who Should not receive RF treatments:
- Persons with active infection in the treatment area
- Cancer in the area
- Persons who are pregnant
- Persons that received recent light or laser treatment,
- Recent chemical peel
- Recent microdermabrasion
- Recent surgical procedure
- Recent changes in moles or growths in the treatment area
**Precautions for recent AHA, BHA, Retin-A or Retinoid use will make your skin more sensitive and red.
