Radiofrequency is a nonsurgical method of tightening your skin it has been safely used since 2001 as an effective treatment against sagging skin and wrinkles. It involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin, otherwise known as your dermis. This will stimulate the production of Collagen. Collagen is a protein that gives your skin its firmness. As we age, our cells produce less collagen, which results in less firmness and wrinkles.
You can expect to see changes after even one session, although most body or face treatments will require 2-4 sessions approximately 7-10 days apart. Significant results will appear within a period of 3 months, as collagen remodelling takes about 90 days to occur.
